Say hello to The Femme Edition – a brand new space for femme LGBTQ+ women

The Femme Edition (TFE) is the first online publication of its kind by femme LGBTQ+ women, for femmes.  The aim is to bring representation and increase Femme Visibility.

TFE is a safe space for the community where articles will be written by contributing writers covering a range of topics from the latest in news, celebrities, lifestyle, fashion, family, weddings and more. TFE will also provide coming out advice, same-sex proposals and wedding inspo, as well as dating advice.

For and by the femme LGBTQ+ community

TFE is brought to you by Find Femmes, the LGBTQ+ dating site and community for femmes. It has been a dream of cofounders, and wives, Whitney and Megan Bacon-Evans (aka ‘Wegan‘) to launch an online publication for a long time, to continue to expand the offering to the femme community. A place for all of our voices to be shared, and heard! A place so for femmes so that no-one ever has to feel alone.

“It is really important to us that the femme community have a space they can call theirs and we really want to be able to provide our community with a voice by writing about topics (and sharing personal stories) that inspire them as well as others.” says cofounder, Whitney Kay Bacon-Evans.

About the Cofounders

Whitney and Megan are wife and wife, known collectively as ‘Wegan’. They are luxury lifestyle, fashion and travel social media content creators, based in Windsor. The wife and wife were the first lesbian couple on Youtube and have been together and online for nearly 12 years. Conquering long distance from the UK to Hawaii for years, Whitney and Megan are passionate about challenging stereotypes and strive to provide visibility to the LGBTQ+ community across the world through their social platforms and 200k+ following. Whitney and Megan are passionate about raising awareness online and are the voice of the femme community. Whitney and Megan are also currently embarking on an exciting journey towards becoming mummas!

“We’re 705 Creative, a full service marketing company from Canada, founded by two sisters/ girl bosses Bianca & Mercedez. We specialize in creating modern and functional websites, and supporting businesses through social media management. Co-founder Mercedez is a Canadian femme lesbian and can be found thrifting, snuggling her Boston terriers, and sharing her fertility journey on The Femme Edition!”

“Kelly Ann Gindhart, known by friends and family as “Kag”, is a queer graphic designer based in Portland, OR. In 2019, Kelly Ann founded KAG Design Co, a graphic design company specializing in custom digital portraits. Kelly Ann creates unique and detailed graphics for her clients, transforming treasured photos into custom artwork. When Kelly Ann isn’t designing her heart out, she spends her time traveling as much as possible, styling her outfits to perfection, and rewatching RuPaul’s Drag Race with her long-term girlfriend.”
