Well, hello there beauties! Who am I you ask? My name is Tanishia, but going forward you will also know me as Lady Agony. I am just like you ladies, a femme woman apart of our wonderful LGBTQ community trying to manoeuvre through life and figure things out.
Throughout my journey, I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have heard things like “You’re way too girlie to be a lesbian!” or “Which guy turned you gay?” or even “How is that even possible?”And do not get me started on the reactions I received when I finally came out to friends and family, which still remains a journey of its own. Do some of these sound familiar? Trust me, I get it. I feel the same exact way you do. Most importantly, I am here for you.
We will be talking about everything from coming out, visibility, break ups and of course all things femme. Each week we will tackle a topic that all of us are either experiencing currently or have experienced at one time or another. You will also have the opportunity to submit a question or comment below to me for our ‘Ask Agony’ segment. I will select one or two of your submissions to be addressed in this segment for the following week. It can be anything—whether you want a second opinion or just need a safe space to talk about something and do not know where to go; Lady Agony is here for you. Now I am not a certified dating advisor, just a lovely femme like yourself who is by your side. Consider me your personal best friend. So if you have a best friend already, you now have another. If you are someone on the lookout for a friend that understands them, look no further! Hopefully you are just as excited as I am because I am looking forward to interacting with all of you!
That’s all for now beauties! Let me know how you are feeling and what topics you would like us to connect on and talk more about. I would love to hear from each of you! Stay femme and fabulous!!
